OK people...before you go ripping into radio station owners being cheap, here is a rare opportunity in these days for a technically oriented person looking to expand their horizons or fill in the blanks between full time gigs.

I'm looking for a part-time/half-time technical person to assist in operating our stations. 20 hours or so a week regularly for the next few months. We're building a new transmitter site and I need some help to assist in many areas of day to day radio station operations ranging from studios, remotes, to including assisting in heavy construction.

The candidate does need to have formal technical experience in both analog and digital audio and non-RF transmission systems. Hands-on skills are absolutely essential and previous broadcast experience certainly preferred. This is not a position for a green starter/wanna be. (Though I might be looking for a starter/intern at some point.) I need someone who can take direction by phone, function on their feet without hand-holding in an at times highly stressed environment.

In time, this might evolve into a full-time position at a growing radio group.

E-mail resumes and references. No phone calls please.
