It was an April Fools prank that cost San Francisco's KYLD-FM (94.9) PD Jim Archer and night host Joe Breezy their jobs, Wednesday afternoon. On April 1, Breezy gave away "free breasts" donated by "Doctor Sanders." In reality, the winner received a pair of chicken breasts, along with tickets to a Kanye West concert, KYLD "Wild Jam" concert tickets, and a Victoria's Secret gift certificate. The winner apparently wanted a different type of breasts and consulted a lawyer. Breezy tells Radio-Info, "I asked the PD (Archer) if I could do the contest and he said yes. When I was told of the lawsuit, I was told the Clear Channel (parent company) lawyers would handle it. I didn't hear from the lawyers for 2 months, and today they fired me." Breezy said the lawyer representing the woman claimed they were suing because of an FCC violation regarding the contest. Breezy (aka: Gringo Suave) says he's not sure what he'll do next, but "would like to get into programming" and said he can be contacted at [email protected].
